ALBUM ENGRAVING
Great Scraps arranges for an album engraver to work at the store on occasional Saturdays. Dates can be found on our calendars & on our news page as well as in our e-mails.
BIRTHDAY CROPS
Cropping birthday parties have proven
very popular at Great Scraps. What better gift for your favorite scrapper?
Arrangements may be made by contacting the store & speaking with Grace. Costs vary with level of service.
ACCUCUT MACHINES
Use our accucut die cut machines to cut any of 6 different alphabets with shadows, assorted tags, & multiple shapes at your convenience. Machines are located in our classroom & may be used when the room is not in use for other events. They are available during crops.
Crops mean "fun". Great Scraps is all about fun; so we have arranged for plenty of "crop" time. Friday night one can "crop the night away" along with up to 20 other happy scrappers from 7pm-12m. In addition, Great scraps provides birthday & other private crops.
We also provide all day crops on some Saturdays as well as weekend crops on special occasions. In addition, there is usually at least one Sunday afternoon crop. Detailed information concerning these can be found on our calendar of events page and in our e-mail updates.
The store always remains open during the crops; so, one can have access to all needs within a few steps. Crops are generally provided with drinks, pizza, & snacks unless otherwise noted. Meals are also provided with most all day crops.
All class & crop fees must be prepaid. Reservations can be taken by phone & be paid for with Visa, Mastercard, or Discover credit cards. Registrations cancelled with 48 hours notice will be fully credited. Cancellations with 24-48 hours notice will be credited toward another crop/class. Fee will be forfeited if cancelled within 24 hours. Children under age 14 are not allowed in classroom/crop area unless otherwise stated. All drinks should be in closed containers.
Our classroom may also be reserved for private cropping. This will require at least 2 months notice. Fees will vary depending on services provided by Great Scraps. Customers are invited to use our classroom whenever it is not otherwise in use.
Great Scraps provides superb classroom instruction for all levels of Scrapping. The gamut extends from beginner classes through intermediate to the pro scrapper. We try to cover all new techniques . We provide top-flight instructors, most of whom also have experience in the education field. Classes usually run for 2 hour blocks. Most are in the evening but daytime & weekend classes are presented as well. Each participant will generally leave with completed projects. Examples of the works can be seen on the store's class wall & in the classes section of this site. Kits may be available for some classes.
Payment must be made in advance when reserving a slot. The reservation may be made in the store or by phone. If made by phone, holding the slot will require credit card information. Cancellations made with 48 hours notice will be fully credited. Cancellations between 24-48hrs will be credited toward another class. Cancellation within 24 hours will result in fee forfeiture.
